Using our Telephone Circulation System, you can find out information regarding your library account, such as number and titles of items checked out, fines, holds and overdue items. This automated phone system is available anytime.

Call the library system's automated Telephone Circulation System at:

• (717) 240-7889 or
• (888) 697-0371 Ext. 7889 (toll-free) - press 1; wait for the prompt before entering the extension and then hold to be transferred

When the automated system is activated, listen to the menu of choices*:

For library phone numbers, press 1

For library card account information, press 2 
Enter your 14-digit library card number and PIN. The system will tell you how many items are on loan, how many requests you have and if there are any items available to pick up.

• For renewals, press 1
  • To renew all items, press 2
    • You will get a confirmation message, or be told if one or more item can't be renewed
  • To hear a list of items you can renew, press 4
    • After hearing the title and due date, if you wish to renew, press 2
    • You will get a confirmation message, or be told if the item can't be renewed
• For requests, press 2
  • To hear a list of all requests and holds, press 4
    • You will be told of any items available to pick up, and the system will allow you to hear the entire list or requests.
    • For each item:
      • To cancel the request, press 3
      • To hear the full list again, press 4
      • To go to a previous item on the list, press 5
      • To hear the next item, press 6
      • To return to the previous menu, press *
  • To return to the previous menu, press *
• For account status, press 3
• To hear a list of loan items, press 4. After each item is read:
  • To renew the item, press 1
  • If it is a request, and you wish to cancel it, press 3
  • To hear the list again, press 4
  • To go to the previous item, press 5
  • To go to the next item, press 6
  • To return to the previous menu, press *
• To access another account, press 7 and enter a different barcode and PIN

For renewals, press 5
