Support the Library System Foundation
Foundation Accepts EITC Donations
As a Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Organization, the library system system can receive donations from approved businesses in return for Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC).
These donations help fund our annual Summer Reading Program for about 7000 children each year.
To be part of this program, complete the DCED application after July 1 of this year. Early application is important.
Foundation Purpose
All gifts to the Cumberland County Library System Foundation support the Cumberland County Library System and its member libraries' mission:
- To meet the cultural, educational and informational needs of Cumberland County library users and community residents.
Non-Profit, Tax-Exempt
The Cumberland County Library System Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. ( IRS Tax Exemption Designation ( PDF, 1818KB, 2 pages)
Foundation Board
A Board of Directors governs the Cumberland County Library System Foundation.
