Long Overdue Accounts
One month after a billing notice has been issued, you may be referred to a collection agency if:
- Your account has $25 or more in fines, fees or outstanding materials and
- You have not made payment arrangements with the library.
If you are sent to a collection agency, you will be charged a $10 long overdue account fee.
Lost Items
If you lose an item, you will be charged for:
- The item's list price and
- $5 for processing the lost item.
Damaged Items
Charges for damaged library materials are determined on a case-by-case basis, with fees ranging from $1 to the item’s full replacement cost.
The library is not responsible for any damage to audio or video players, which may result from use of library materials.
This policy is subject to change at any time without notice. Updates to the policy may be obtained from the Library System.
