Suggested Cyperspace Guidelines
- Become familiar with the risks associated with Internet use. Several helpful places to start are:
- Establish rules for Internet use and go with your child each time they visit the library to use the Internet.
- Understand how Internet filtering at your library works.
- Help your child learn how to critically evaluate information on the Internet.
- Consider whether or not blocking your child’s library card from Internet access would help you supervise your child at the library.
