Bring Identification to Get Your Card
Prove Your Identity and Address
To get your permanent Cumberland County Library System card, you must present a valid photo identification or two documents to prove your identity and address.
Valid Photo Identification (only one is required)
- Valid driver's license with your current address, or
- Valid non-driver's state-issued identification card with current address.
Documents to Prove Your Identity & Address (one from each column is required)
Proof of Identity
- Valid driver's license with old address
- Valid passport
- Military identification
- Birth certificate
- Social security card
- 'Green card'
- Current school picture identification
- Employment picture identification
| Proof of Address
- Local or county tax statement (addressed to you)
- Current lease agreement
- Current utility bill addressed to you (phone, gas, electric, water, cable, etc.)
- Current bank statement or pay stub with your address
- Your vehicle registration
- Your voter registration card
- Or, visit the library to ask us to mail a post card to your current address. Then, when you receive the post card at home, return it to the library to prove your current address
