Bring Identification to Get Your Card

Prove Your Identity and Address
To get your permanent Cumberland County Library System card, you must present a valid photo identification or two documents to prove your identity and address.

Valid Photo Identification (only one is required)
 

  • Valid driver's license with your current address, or
  • Valid non-driver's state-issued identification card with current address.


Documents to Prove Your Identity & Address (one from each column is required)

Proof of Identity
  • Valid driver's license with old address
  • Valid passport
  • Military identification
  • Birth certificate
  • Social security card
  • 'Green card'
  • Current school picture identification
  • Employment picture identification
Proof of Address
  • Local or county tax statement (addressed to you)
  • Current lease agreement
  • Current utility bill addressed to you (phone, gas, electric, water, cable, etc.)
  • Current bank statement or pay stub with your address
  • Your vehicle registration
  • Your voter registration card
  • Or, visit the library to ask us to mail a post card to your current address.  Then, when you receive the post card at home, return it to the library to prove your current address
