About New Cumberland
New Cumberland Public Library – Cumberland County Library System
The New Cumberland Library is housed in the historic Benjamin mansion in the Hillside School neighborhood. Close to downtown, the Library sits within a 2.5 acre park and is home to a large collection of popular fiction, DVDs, movies and children materials.
The 2nd floor gallery and Browsing Room offer quiet places to reflect and read, while the first floor is stocked with materials for adults and teens. The reference area includes computers with high-speed Internet access for public use. Wireless internet is available throughout the facility. The library’s lower level is devoted to children’s materials, including a storytime area.
Each week, the library offers special activities for children and adults. Children’s storytimes are popular, and provide programs for children ages one through fourth grade. We offer a wide variety of exciting adult programs throughout the year.
We hope that the New Cumberland Public Library will be a place you visit regularly!
