Friends of the Simpson Library Event Schedule The Friends of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library host a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. We hope you'll join us at a book sale, dineout, or another Friends' event. Proceeds from fundraising activities are contributed to the library for ongoing expenses, capital support, and special projects.  We're always looking for members, so please consider joining the Friends!

April 17, 2013 - Chick-Fil-A Dine Out Fundraiser
On Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 4:00 - 9:00 pm, Chick-fil-A will be holding a "Spirit Night" to benefit the Friends of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. Enjoy an evening out with your family and friends while supporting the library! A percentage of your meal's cost will go directly to the Friends of the Simpson Public Library.

April 24, 2013 - Friends' Annual Dinner
Join us for the Friends' Annual Dinner featuring Tanya Foster from CBS21 as the guest speaker.

May 9, 2013 - Isaac's Dine Out Fundraiser
On Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Isaac’s Restaurants in Silver Spring Commons and Rossmoyne Business Center will be holding a “Restaurant Night” to benefit the Friends of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. 25% of the cost of your meal will go directly to the Friends of the Simpson Public Library.

June 20, 2013 - Jubilee Day Book Sale (preview June 19)
Book sales are held 3 times a year and have become one of the Friends' most successful fundraisers. Proceeds from fundraising activities are contributed to the library for ongoing expenses, capital support, and special projects.

Wednesdays in August, 2013 - Diener's Dine Out Fundraiser
Dine at Diener's Restaurant and support the library.  20% of the cost of your meal will be donated to the Friends of the Simpson Public Library.

October 26-27 - October Book Sale (preview October 25)
Book sales are held 3 times a year and have become one of the Friends' most successful fundraisers. Proceeds from fundraising activities are contributed to the library for ongoing expenses, capital support, and special projects.

September 19, 2013 - Jo Jo's Dine Out Fundraiser
On Thursday, September 19, 2013, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Jo Jo's of Mechanicsburg will be having a dine out to support the Friends of the Simpson Public Library, donating 15% of the cost of your meal.

November 3-4, 2013 - Chili's Dine Out Fundraiser
Chili’s Restaurant in the Wegmans/Target Shopping Complex in Silver Spring Township will host a “Restaurant Lunch and Dinner” fundraiser to benefit the Friends of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. Let Chili’s do the cooking while you relax, chow down, and support the Friends of the Library!

December 8, 2013 - 19th Annual Holly Trail House Tour
Kick off this holiday season with the 19th Annual Holly Trail House Tour presented by the Friends of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. Experience some local history and architecture you visit the homes and buildings included on the tour. Homes will be decorated for the holidays and filled with the spirit of the season.
