I recently got a job offer, thanks to classes that I took at Bosler Library! When I was in high school, they didn't have computer classes, so I didn't know the first thing about computers. I took the free basic keyboarding class here at the library. The teacher was very encouraging and took a genuine interest in how I was doing.
I loved that the classes were free. My husband is disabled, so for me to go back to college is an impossibility.
I also took the free job hunting programs that Bosler offered last year. JFC Staffing managers taught us how to find out what job you're best suited for, how to network and get our foot in the door. I was having trouble with my interview techniques, so the interview program really helped.
I just got an offer for a job as an eligibility clerk at a health care company. I was elated! It's definitely because of Bosler Library that I got this job.
