Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and we sponsor a wide variety of programs for all ages.

 

 

Adult Winter Reading Program

Photo of an open book and a mug of teaWarm up...to a Good Book!  Sign up at the Reference Desk beginning December 19th for the Winter Reading Club.  Read for a chance to win prizes; the more you read the better your chances of winning. The Winter Reading Program runs from January 16th until February 28th. 

New! Open Play

Toddler girl playing with blocksSpend some time focusing on your baby or toddler with our developmentally appropriate toys and share the joys and challenges of parenting with others.  The Open Play program is for parents and their children under age 3 and will be held on January 12th from 3:00-4:00 PM and on January 25th from 10:15-11:15 AM. Just drop in, no registration needed. 

First Saturday Lego Madness

On the first Saturdays in January, February, March, and April 2017 from 10:30—11:30 AM,  the Children’s Room will host “Lego Madness” for children of all ages.

No fee and no registration needed.  Just come and join in the fun! 

Monthly Book Sales

New Cumberland Public Library Book Sale

The Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library hold pre-owned book sales on the first and third Saturdays of each month.   Most hardbacks are $1.00 and paperbacks are generally $.50.  There are many nice children's books in mint condition.  Stop In!
