Families around the region can attend a workshop titled “Considering Your Educational Options” on Monday, June 25 at the Fredricksen Library at 100 N. 19th St., in Camp Hill from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., according to a release from the Harrisburg Area Homeschooler’s Association.
The workshop is geared toward helping families explore various educational options – specifically traditional homeschooling and cyber schools. The presenter will be Jamey McClintock, president of HAHA, who will share the pros and cons of each option, discuss how both processes work and conduct a question and answer session.
In addition to the workshop, there will also be an optional follow-up program titled “Traditional Homeschooling 101 – How to Begin.” The second workshop will be held in July.
The cost for these workshops is $5 per family and includes a packet of informational materials.
Pre-registration is required and may be done by visiting HAHA’s website at www.hahaofpa.org.
