Science Camps

All science camps have a registration limit of 12.

Participants must attend both classes in the camp.

 

Registration opens at 10:00 am on the registration date indicated for each program. To register, call 717-243-4642 x2231 or visit the Library and inquire at the Youth Services Desk.

 

Please be advised that the Library sometimes photographs group programs for use in the Library's publications and advertisements. These photos are the property of Bosler Memorial Library. If you would prefer not to appear in any group photo taken by the Library, please advise your program leader prior to the event.

Down & Dirty

June 5 - June 8

1:30 - 2:30 pm

Registration Opens May 22

 

Warning: You WILL get dirty!  Soil shakes, and sedimentary parfaits; discovering and cleaning dirt.  Join us for our Down and Dirty Camp, and take a closer look at that stuff adults tell you not to play in!  Complete the entire Camp, and get a free book of science activities you can do at home!

Bubble Magic

June 19 - June 22

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Bubble wrap, bubblegum. Bubbles round, and bubbles square. Square bubbles? Can it be done? Find out in Bubble Magic Camp! Complete the entire Camp, and get a free book of science activities you can do at home! For ages 5-8, must attend all four days, meets Monday through Thursday from 1:30-2:30pm.

Candy Camp

July 17 - July 20

Registration Opens July 3

 

Gum drops, candy bars, gummy worms and bears! Join us for some sweet chemistry experiments, and make your own Candy Camp Lab Book to take home! Complete the entire Camp, and get a free book of science activities to keep! Open to ages 9 to 12, please plan to attend all 4 classes. Classes are held from 1:30-2:30 each day, Monday through Thursday.

Wild Weather

July 24 - July 27

What's the weather? We ask that every day. But what makes snow, rain, frost, or hail? Explore weather with us, from clouds to precipitation, to extreme weather. Complete the entire Camp, and get a free book of science activities to keep! For ages 5 to 8. Meets Monday through Thursday from 1:30-2:30, must attend all four classes.
