Photo of librarian working The Cumberland County Library System is a great place to work. The system and its local libraries employ over 160 people. About 20 of these positions are professional librarians and the rest are library assistants, clerks or custodial support. Most positions are part-time. Each library is an independent, non-profit institution and staff are employees of the local library. The library system's administrative office staff are employed by Cumberland County government.

Cleve J. Fredricksen Library is looking for an individual who can perform a variety of programming services to meet the needs of the customers in the Create Space. The focus will be on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) for grades K-5. The individual will report directly to the Children’s Services Manager. EOE.


The John Graham Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Circulation Assistant.  

Hours:  Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Fridays from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm (except for the 3rd Friday of the month from September through April, 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm), and every other Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Pay:  $8.15 per hour.
