Photo of librarian working The Cumberland County Library System is a great place to work. The system and its local libraries employ over 160 people. About 20 of these positions are professional librarians and the rest are library assistants, clerks or custodial support. Most positions are part-time. Each library is an independent, non-profit institution and staff are employees of the local library. The library system's administrative office staff are employed by Cumberland County government.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Director of Youth Services provides general library services for the young library users and provides special library services such as summer reading programs and weekly story time, including crafts and other programs that enhance the lives of and promote reading to young library users. 

 


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Youth Services Assistant provides general library services for and promotes literacy among young library users. He/she performs varied duties in the youth services department under the direction of the Director of Youth Services.


The John Graham Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Circulation Assistant.  

Hours:  Mondays from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursdays from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, and every other Saturday from 10:00 am -5:00 pm.  Pay:  $8.15 per hour.
