DIY: Washi Tape Madness

DIY @ Simpson LibraryDecorate with Washi Tape on Wednesday, July 16, at 7:00 pm.  Limited to 12 people.  Register now!

Join us for a night of decorating with Washi Tape! Originating from Japan, Washi tape is a very pretty tape that comes in semi-transparent patterns and designs. Washi Tape is typically made of natural fibers such as hemp. Washi tape is often surprisingly strong along with its beautiful designs, making it great for everyday and decorative uses!

In this program, we will use Washi Tape to decorate a variety of objects such as flower pots, picture frames, votive holders, and letter wall art. Participants can choose which object they would like to decorate from our supplies, or bring their own object to decorate!

This program is limited to 12 participants!

This program is free, but registration is required so we have ample supplies!  We will meet in the Lower Level Meeting Rooms. Register at the library, by calling us at 766-0171, or emailing us at
