Kindergarten Readiness Class

Children and teacher building.Your Child’s Kindergarten Connection

2013-2014

Will your child be attending Kindergarten in September 2014? Do you wonder if they will be prepared for this experience? Our Kindergarten Readiness Class may just be the answer for you! This series of 10 classes is designed for your child AND you to attend.

At each class your child will work on activities created to help them make a smooth transition from preschool child to Kindergarten student while you create a new readiness game at each class to take home and play with your child.

For your convenience these series of classes, beginning in September and ending in June, will be offered at three different times:

1. The first Tuesday evening of each month from 6:30 – 7:30 PM

2. The second Tuesday evening of each month from 6:30 – 7:30 PM

3. The first Thursday afternoon of each month from 1:00-2:00 PM.

Different skills will be covered in class each month. All classes will cover identical material just at different days and times. Please choose the one class time that will suit your family’s schedule and register for that series of classes. You only need to register your child once and they will be enrolled for the year.

It is not necessary to let us know that your child will be attending each month but we do ask that you please let us know if your child will be absent. The class size will be limited so we ask that you please understand that this is an ongoing program when you enroll your child. If you find that your schedule prohibits your child from continuing in the class please let us know so a child from the waiting list may take their place.

For more information or if you have questions please call Mrs. Stoner at the library at 766-0171 or email her at lstoner@ccpa.net.
