Grow Plants from Seeds

SeedlingLearn how to grow food from seeds on Wednesday, May 21!  Two sessions available:  1:00 pm & 7:00 pm


This program will focus on how to start growing plants from seed.


While many people buy seedlings from garden stores, there are multiple benefits of starting your plants from seeds (including taking advantage of our seed lending library!). Growing from seeds allows gardeners to grow rare and heirloom plants that are often not commercially available. Growing from seed can also give gardeners more control over the plant health and longevity.
