Younger LEGOJoin us for LEGO Club on Tuesday, February 27, at 6:30 pm! This month's project is Build a Piggy Bank to celebrate "Teach Your Child to Save" day. LEGO are provided.

 

This club is for children in Kindergarten - Fifth Grade and meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from September - May.

Homeschool Book Discussion ClubRead The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi and Encounters with the Past: Meet the Pirates by Liz Miles and be prepared to discuss them with the other members of the club. This club for Homeschool students has a special meeting date and time for December. The club will meet from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

 

Ages: Third - Fifth Grade

Block PartyYou are invited to a BLOCK PARTY here at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library on Saturday, May 5, at 10:30 am.

 

What is a BLOCK PARTY? It is an hour of fun just playing with wooden blocks and our play animals, vehicles and people! We will be hosting BLOCK PARTIES twice a month so come see what it is all about and have some CONSTRUCTIVE FUN!!!

 

 

Ages: Children of all ages!

American Girls ClubThis club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. This club is for students in Third through Sixth Grade. One girl from the American Girls book series is featured each month with discussion and special crafts from her historical time period. This month's focus is on Molly McIntire and Emily Bennett, 1944. Be prepared for a lively discussion by reading a book about these American Girls, watching a movie or learning about them.

This club meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. This month's topic is Jumping Bugs.
