Homeschool Book Discussion Club

Have your child read or listen to I Lost My Tooth in Africa by Penda Diakite and join in as we discuss this book. (If you can’t find a copy of the book, I will be reading it that day.) Have fun making a tooth craft and eating a healthy snack. This club for Homeschool students in Kindergarten through Third grade meets from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month.

 

Ages: Kindergarten - Third Grade

Registration: Required and must be done on or before Monday, September 7.

American Girls Club

We will be having a discussion about Grace, Girl of the Year 2015. Come join us for crafts and a snack! This club is for students in Kindergarten through Sixth grade and meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.

 

Ages: Kindergarten - Sixth Grade

Block PartyYou are invited to a BLOCK PARTY here at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library on Saturday, September 12, at 10:30 am.

 

What is a BLOCK PARTY? It is an hour of fun just playing with wooden blocks and our play animals, vehicles and people! We will be hosting monthly BLOCK PARTIES so come see what it is all about and have some CONSTRUCTIVE FUN!!!

 

 

Ages: Children of all ages!

Kindergarten Club

Join us to celebrate ‘leaves’ today with songs, stories, crafts and food. This club is for children currently in Kindergarten and we will meet on the second Saturday of each month from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.

STEM Club

Students in grade 1-3 are welcome to this new club where each month we will discover something about Science, Technology, Engineering or Math! This club meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
 

Ages: First - Third Grade

Registration: Required and must be done on or before Friday, September 11.



 

Tuesday, September 22, 2015 - 6:30pm

Actvities Club for Tweens

Students in grade 4-6 are invited to come to the library tonight for a planning session for this club that will meet monthly. This program will meet on the Fourth Tuesday of each month from September – May at 7:00 pm.

 

Ages: Fourth - Sixth Grade

Registration: Required and must be done on or before Friday, September 18.
