STEM ClubImagine, design, explore, construct, and discover using Science, Technology, Engineering or Math! First – third grade children will be encouraged to use critical thinking, teamwork, motor and communication skills in these programs. This club meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Registration is currently closed for this club.

Actvities Club for TweensStudents in grades 4-6 are invited to come to the library to make new friends and to try new activities. A different activity will be featured each month. This program will meet on the Fourth Tuesday of each month from September – May at 6:30 pm. A one-time registration is required.

Block PartyYou are invited to a BLOCK PARTY here at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library on Saturday, January 30, at 1:00 pm.

 

What is a BLOCK PARTY? It is an hour of fun just playing with wooden blocks and our play animals, vehicles and people! We will be hosting monthly BLOCK PARTIES so come see what it is all about and have some CONSTRUCTIVE FUN!!!

American Girls Club

Tonight’s discussion will be about the life of Julie from 1974 America. This club is for students in Kindergarten through Sixth grade and meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm.

Stuffed Animal SleepoverJoin us on Friday, February 10, 1:00-2:00 pm AND Saturday, February 11, 1:00-2:00 pm for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

 

Bring a stuffed animal Friday afternoon to a special story and craft time in the Children’s Area of the library. Leave your animal to spend the night with all of the other stuffed animals! Then Saturday afternoon from 1:00-2:00 pm, come back to pick up your animal, eat a snack with us, and hear all about the adventures of the stuffed animals while they spent the night in the library!

 

The 5th Annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover is being sponsored by the Upper Allen Woman’s Club GFWC.

 

Registration is required and must be done on or before Thursday, February 2.

Kindergarten ClubAll Kindergarten students are welcome to join us for a fun afternoon of programs based on school-curriculum themes presented in stories, songs, activities, and crafts.
