Block PartyYou are invited to a BLOCK PARTY here at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library on Saturday, March 7, at 10:00 am.

 

What is a BLOCK PARTY? It is an hour of fun just playing with wooden blocks and our play animals, vehicles and people! We will be hosting monthly BLOCK PARTIES so come see what it is all about and have some CONSTRUCTIVE FUN!!!

 

 

Ages: Preschoolers - Kingergarten

Homeschool Book Discussion Club

Please read or listen to any book written & illustrated by Jan Brett and be ready to share a little bit about it with our group. Have fun making a craft and eating a yummy snack. This club for Homeschool students in Kindergarten through Third grade meets from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month.

Tonight’s discussion will be about the life of Kit in 1934 America. Come join us for crafts and a snack! This club is for students in Kindergarten through Sixth grade and meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Grade School Students in First through Third Grade are welcome to join this club which meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Children learn about a specific genre, make a craft, are encouraged to recommend good books to each other and then have a snack. Registration is required by the Friday preceding each meeting in order to insure adequate supplies for all who attend.
