A Book that Shaped Me

A Book that Shaped Me

Our library has been invited to participate in the Library of Congress National Book Festival Summer Writing Contest 2014.

“A Book that Shaped Me" encourages rising 5th and 6th graders to reflect on a book that has made a personal impact on their lives.  The deadline to submit an essay is August 11, 2014.

For complete information, visit the "A Book That Shaped Me" website or pick up an entry packet in the Children’s Room at Simpson Library.  Just ask any librarian in the Children’s Room to give you the packet and then start writing! If you have questions please email Mrs. Stoner at, or call the library at 717-766-0171 and ask for Mrs. Stoner.
