The Parent Child Workshop is a five week program that allows parents/caregivers and children ages 12-42 months time to play, relax, socialize and develop new skills. Parents/caregivers will also have the opportunity to meet with local resource professionals during each session on topics such as early literacy, speech, hearing and language development, child development, nutrition, music, play and health. This program is staffed by Fredricksen's Kristinna Yann, Early Childhood Specialist. Registration begins July 24 and space is limited. All participants are encouraged to have a library card. There will be no class on August 14.
Children ages 1 to 3 and siblings birth to 5 are welcome. Children over 5 are not permitted for safety reasons. Family Place programming is sponsored through EITC donations from the following businesses: M&T Bank, Cleveland Brothers, United Concordia, American Sentinel Insurance Company, Metro Bank, Capital Blue Cross, Centric Bank and Susquehanna Bank.
