Gardening with Nature: Pollinator Gardens

More than 4,000 species of native bees provide a free, often overlooked service in our gardens, parks and open spaces. Whether it is the food we eat, the fibers we use, or the ability to sustain plant communities, pollinators are vital to our existence. Native plants are at the heart of a pollinator-friendly garden, providing food and host plants to pollinators. Join Master Gardener Greg Gnatt and learn how to create a beautiful pollinator garden that will entice beneficial pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, beetles, and moths, into your landscape.

Gardening with Nature Workshops - Fredricksen Library has teamed up with Penn State Master Gardeners and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay to bring you a series of eight workshops that will show you how to garden with nature.  Cost per (March-Oct) workshop $5.00 each. Registration for all programs is now open. To Register Contact: Penn State Extension, Cumberland County - 717-240-6500 or 1-888-697-0371 x6500  Sponsored by Penn State Master Gardeners.
