Foreign Film Friday: Call for Title

FROM THE U.K.: Acting upon the edict "Give me a child until he is seven, and I will give you the man," director Paul Almond chose & interviewed a sampling of seven-year-old British children in 1963. Intended as a one-shot project, Seven Up took on a life of its own when one of the director's assistants chose to keep tabs on the children and update their stories at seven-year intervals. With this in mind, Almond rounded up the kids in 1970 for a follow-up TV documentary, Seven Plus Seven.

We will be showing one of these films every 2nd Friday of the month: April 11: 21 Up; May 9: 35 Up; June 13: 56 Up.  Sponsored by Jane and Bill Murray.
