Human Resources Coordinator - Full Time

Position Summary

Cleve J. Fredricksen Library is seeking an individual dedicated to creating a positive experience for each library customer.  The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for human resource functions for employees and volunteers of the library.  EOE.

 

Position

Includes day, evening and weekend hours.

 

Requirements

Bachelors degree with coursework in behavioral sciences, personnel administration or communication

Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred

Experience in Human Resources or related fields preferred

Demonstrated commitment to volunteerism with actual volunteer experience preferred

Reference Services Librarian - Part Time

Position Summary

Cleve J. Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill is seeking individuals dedicated to create a positive experience for each library customer. Reference Services Librarian will actively assist customers with locating materials.  The successful candidate will assist customers with library catalog and equipment including the use of electronic devices.

Candidates will possess excellent customer service skills, tact and professionalism in communications and the knowledge of reference resources of various formats.

$14.00 per hour EOE.

Position: Mondays 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, Tuesdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, Thursdays 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Fridays 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and every fourth weekend of Saturday and Sunday 12:30 pm 5:00 pm.

 

Requirements

Education requirements: M.L.S. equivalent or a BA including 12 credits of library science and previous experience in public library setting preferred

Technical Services Manager - Part Time

Position Summary

Cleve J. Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill is seeking an individual to oversee the database and general maintenance of Fredricksen’s holdings.  Duties include cataloging and processing children’s materials, maintaining holding records, preparing invoices, and generating reports from the ILS related to usage and collection maintenance.  This position supervises and schedules technical services technicians and volunteers.

Requirements

Education requirements: College graduate with some coursework in library science, specifically cataloging, or college graduate with satisfactory completion of library technology training.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Children's Assistant - Part Time

Position Summary

Cleve J. Fredricksen Library is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to assist customers in the children's library.  EOE.

 

Position

Mondays and Thursdays 1 pm-5 pm, Tuesdays 9 am-5 pm, and every fourth Sunday 12:30 pm-5 pm

 

Requirements

Ability to develop and present age appropriate children's story times and program

Knowledge of children's materials

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Bachelor's degree with some library science preferred

Previous experience interacting with children in a professional setting preferred

$8.65 per hour
