Natalie D. Craumer Writers Workshop - Back to the Basics

You want to write a short story but you don’t know where to start. You’ve found the right workshop. For six consecutive Mondays in Spring, join Ann Elia Stewart, novelist, teacher, workshop facilitator, in learning more about the elements that shape fiction: observation, point of view, characterization/dialogue, plot and significant detail. Examples for each topic are provided from contemporary fiction short stories or novel excerpts; homework may be assigned. At least twenty minutes per session are allotted for in-class freewriting. Age 15 or older, please. This class has been brought back by popular demand! Seats fill up quickly. Registration begins August 15.

Register Online Here starting August 15.
