Teen Nanowrimo Meetup

Tuesdays November 7, 14 and 28 at 6 pm

Calling all teen writers to take on the challenge of National Novel Writing Month!  Teens writing in any genre are invited to join our group for weekly meetings featuring Word Wars, good company and plenty of help to keep you on track to novel success! Quiet work from 6 pm - 7 pm.  From 7 pm - 8:30 pm share progress, work out story problems and encourage each other.  For teens ages 12 - 18.  No registration necessary.  

Cozy Story Times

November 13 - December 8: 4 week sessions

Join us for a cozy and entertaining story time for children ages birth - K and the family members they love. Registration is required and sessions last for four weeks. Contact the library for specific session days and times or view our events calendar. Register Oct. 31 for the Baby and Me and Nov. 1 for all others.

Social Security Disability

Tuesday, November 28 at 7 pm

If you suffer from a long-term physical disability or mental illness, that prevents you from working, you may be eligible to receive Social Security Disability.  Attorney Victoria Edwards from Mette Evans & Woodside will discuss common mistakes to avoid and how to improve your chance of being awarded disability benefits. No registration necessary.
