Finance at East Pennsboro

East Pennsboro Library is a branch library of The Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, an independent, non-profit organization with 501 (c)(3) status.

Funding comes primarily from local, state, and private sources. As a member of the Cumberland County Library System (CCLS), East Pennsboro shares resources, materials, and technology with Fredricksen and 7 other public libraries in the county, controlling costs and expanding access to materials. The Friends of the Library host book sales and special events to raise money for the library.

Mission

As a branch of Fredricksen Library, East Pennsboro shares Fredricksen's mission: To enrich our community by providing access to a comprehensive collection of educational and recreational information resources and programs.

Future Plans

East Pennsboro's primary objective for the future is to expand the branch, either by occupying more space in the Municipal Building or launching a campaign to construct its own space.
