Bring your smart phone and join us for a fun selfie scavenger hunt. The hunt will include items in keeping with the summer reading theme "Build a Better World." No registration necessary.

Join us for rock painting at the library. Help to build a better world by showing your gratitude for somebody or something. Keep the rock for yourself as a reminder or give it to somebody as a thank you. Materials provided. No registration necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Friday, July 14, 2017 - 1:00pm

If you like things that glow in the dark, come to the library and make a galaxy jar with glitter, to personalize your room. We'll provide the glow in the dark paint, glitter and other materials. Bring your own bottle or jar with lid or use one of ours. No registration necessary.


Saturday, July 22, 2017 - 10:00am

Drop in anytime between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for STEM building activities for all ages.


Friday, July 28, 2017 - 1:00pm

Fun for all ages, but this is just for our teens! Come to the library to build a structure using only the materials we provide. See how many books it will hold. No registration necessary.

Celebrate a summer of building a better world by joining us on Saturday, August 5 at 10:30 am as Storyteller Tim Hartman brings our summer to a close with "Folktrails," a show that teaches how to live with others through three stories from very different cultures. Snacks provided!
