Carlisle Poets Workshop

Join members of the Carlisle Poets’ Workshop as they gather writers and listeners to support the art of poetry, on the second Saturday of every month from 12:00-2:30. All are welcome.

Carlisle Poets Workshop was formed in 1970, but the roots of the organization go back to 1936 to the Harrisburg Manuscript Club. The chapter has grown over the years to its current strong status in support of poetry in the community, and on the state and national scene. The members participate in local events, as well as annual state and national conventions and writing contests resulting in awards and published work.
