Join us on Friday, October 24 at 7:00 pm for our next Music @ Bosler concert, featuring Carlisle's own bluegrass band Tuckahoe Ridge, a 5-piece acoustic string band that has become a favorite for many in the Cumberland Valley. With a base in the bluegrass style Tuckahoe Ridge travels through time to play tunes from old time to new grass, all while keeping the feeling of the jam. The band is accented by the banjo playing of the talented Trevor Wire and the improvisational fiddle from Evan Flowers. Taylor Wire chops and leads on the mandolin. David Masland picks the guitar and sings the songs while Jan Nawa keeps the bus moving on the upright bass.
The Music at Bosler series features a variety of local musicians in free monthly concerts at the library on the Fourth Friday of every month, and is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Truman C. Bullard, Professor of Music Emeritus at Dickinson College, and an anonymous donor. Concerts will take place in the new Community Room in Bosler's South Wing unless otherwise specified.
