Join us on Friday, May 23 at 7:00 pm for our next Music @ Bosler concert, featuring Celtic folk trio Across the Pond.
Across the Pond is south-central PA’s exciting new traditional Celtic folk trio. Michael Morrison, Chuck Krepley and Dan Diviney started playing together in late 2010 and have appeared on stage at several regional festivals, including Carlisle’s own McLain Celtic Festival. With ancestral blood of Ireland and Scotland pumping through their veins, these men breathe new life into traditional tunes and songs with their unique and exciting arrangements. While they perform primarily traditional folk music of Ireland and Scotland, they are known to take a few liberties with the music branded as Celtic Traditional Music on High Octane. From haunting slow airs to fast-paced jig & reel sets, to traditional and contemporary songs, their music is sure to please you.
The Music at Bosler series features a variety of local musicians in free monthly concerts at the library on the Fourth Friday of every month, and is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Truman C. Bullard, Professor of Music Emeritus at Dickinson College, and an anonymous donation. Concerts will take place in the Community Room in Bosler's South Wing unless otherwise specified.
