Join us on Friday, April 25 at 7:00 pm for our next Music @ Bosler concert, featuring Dickinson College's only all-male a capella group The Octals, back by popular demand.
The Octals trace their history back to the Men’s Glee Club of the 1940s and 50s. Formally founded in 1996 as an octet, the group has since expanded to 18 members and specializes in a range of music, from classic barbershop tunes and choral hymns to contemporary pop music. Although the group performs mostly on Dickinson’s campus, they also sing in the Carlisle community and in regional competitions. In 2011 and 2013, The Octals were the Grand Champions of the M&T Bank Central Pennsylvania Glee Competition.
The Music at Bosler series features a variety of local musicians in free monthly concerts at the library on the Fourth Friday of every month, and is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Truman C. Bullard, Professor of Music Emeritus at Dickinson College, and an anonymous donation. Concerts will take place in the Community Room in Bosler's South Wing unless otherwise specified.
