Nearly 1 in 3 adults in the U.S. has high blood pressure; regular screenings can help you keep yours under control. Bosler Memorial Library has partnered with Holy Spirit Health System to offer our patrons FREE blood pressure screenings twice a month!
On the second and fourth Thursday of every month, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, a Health Educator will be available on the first floor of the library near the grand staircase. Reservations are not needed.
Also, on the third Thursday of every month, Volunteer Nurse Norma Frame will be in the West Wing lobby from 12:00 - 2:00 pm, giving patrons an additional opportunity to regulate their blood pressure, for better health!
For more information please call Nicholas Macri at (717) 243-4642 ext. 3224 or by email at email@example.com.
Blood Pressure Screenings at Bosler offer community members an opportunity to enhance their Health Literacy, one of the five literacies promoted by the PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries initiative launched by the Pennsylvania Library Association in early 2012.
