Saturday, September 12 @ 10 am - Legos @ the Library - Kids love to create with Legos®!  Get ready to do just that at the library.  We will provide the Legos; you must provide the imagination.  Ages 4 & older with and adult; registration required, limited to 30.  All Lego® creations remain the property of Amelia Givin Library.


Saturday, September 26 @ 10 am - Kings Gap @ the Library presents Leaf Man - It is fall, and the wind gusts.  Leaves are on the move across the landscape.  Kids will hear the story, Leaf Man, by Lois Ehlert.  After hearing this colorful, imaginative story that celebrates the natural world, we will discuss it and do a Leaf Man craft.  Children should bring a paper lunch bag filled with various fallen leaves, twigs, and seeds to help create this project.    All ages are welcome, but this educational program is most appropriate for ages 3 and above. Registration requested.


Saturday, October 3 @ 10 am - Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet presents a taste of Once Upon a Rhyme - This ballet takes us into Mrs. Goose's classroom as the students are lead on lively adventures through some of our favorite Mother Goose rhymes.  We will enjoy the familiar rhymes and see some of the dancers who will be in the performance. 


Saturday, October 17 @ 10 am - Stuffed Animal Sleepover - Bring a stuffed animal to the library to enjoy a craft and stories together.  At the end of the program, you will leave but your animal will stay at the library for the week.  &

Saturday, October 24 @ 10 am - Stuffed Animal Sleepover Finale - come to the library to be reunited with your stuffed animal.  Enjoy fun activities inlcuding a show about your animal's adventures during the week.

Registration is required and limited to 25 - you will come to both the 17th & 24th event.


Saturday, November 14 @ 10 am - American Girl, Samantha - Come learn about Samantha, a generous and kind girl, growing up in the early 1900's, the "Turn of the Twentieth Century".   Ages 4 & older w/ an adult; registration required, limit 30.


Wednesday, November 25 @ 11 am -Kids' Bingo for Books - Spend time at the library playing BINGO and winning books!  There will be books for ALL ages.  Ages 2 & older - kids under 10 years old must have an adult hleper.  Registration required and limited to 40.


Tuesday, December 1 @ 6:30 pm - Christmas Crafts & Carols - Join us as we sing carols and make a craft to celebrate the Christmas season.  All ages are welcome for this family event.  Registration required.
