February 22 @ 10:00 am - A Snowy Time at the Library - Spend some time at the library enjoying a snowy storytime. We will read stories and do a snowy craft. Have you ever made a snowman INSIDE? Ages 2 & older w/ adult helper, registration required, limit 25.
March 8 @ 9:00 am - Hack-A-Bot Program - If you like radio control toys, robots, and breaking things, this program is for you! With the help of members from PennBots, you will take a simple RC toy and hack it to turn it into a one pound fighting robot. Before taking your robot home, you'll have battles to see whose design and driving will prevail. Get ready to "kick 'bot"! Ages 8 & older with and adult helper. Registration cost of $15.00 due upon registration. Limit 8. All supplies will be provided.
March 22 from 10 am - 12 pm - Crafts, Crafts, Crafts Open House - Stop by the library between 10 am and 12 pm to spend time making crafts that will be ready for you to make. We will provide the glue and glitter, you provide the imagination to make some great crafts! Open to kids of all ages. 10 and younger MUST have an adult helper. We will close the room promptly at 12:00, so come early enough to be done with the fun by then. Registration requested.
April 5 @ 10 am - Chippy Chipmunk Author Visit and Nature Program - Did you ever wonder what it would be like to be a chipmunk? Award-winning author of the Chippy Chipmunk books and photographer, Kathy Miller, will join us to share fun facts about the lives of these cute creatures. We will hear about the funny antics of the chipmunk Kathy spents two years photographing. We will even build our own burrow! There will be a visit from Chippy so bring your cameras. All ages welcome. Registration requested.
April 12 promptly at 10 am - Easter Egg Hunt - Bring a basket and come hunt for Easter eggs on the lawn of the library. A large bunny is planning to make a guest appearance so bring your cameras! The hunt will begin promptly at 10 am. Rain or shine. Ages 2 - 10 with an adult helper. Registration required and strictly limited to 60 kids.
