Wednesday, February 21 @ 6 pm - JAM Session - Join others who love to play music as much as you do. Don't forget to bring your instrument! Held in our lower level.


Monday, February 26 @ 6:30 pm - Raising Chickens - Steve Knisely from Knisely's Pet & Farm Center will teach about basic chicken care. Registration requested.


Saturday, March 10 @ 10 am - Pysanky Egg Class - Ellie Swank is back to show us how to create our very own Pysanky eggs just in time for Easter. This class will run from           10 am - 2 pm. Cost: $40.00 per person, must be paid at registration which is required. All supplies will be provided; you may want to bring a lunch or snacks.


**Tuesday, March 13 @ 6:30 pm - Creative Cooking - Theme: Casseroles - Casseroles can be one-dish wonders! Bring your favorite to share with the group - don't forget the recipe!


Wednesday, March 14 @ 6 pm - Rug Hooking, Part 1 - Suzanne White will teach us the art of rug hooking. We will be starting an 8 x 8 rug. The second part of this class will be held April 4 @ 6 pm. Cost: $25.00 payable at registration which is required. Supplies needed: 10" embroidery hoop (wood or plastic) AND at registration, please choose one of the available patterns. Limited to 10 participants.


Wednesday, March 21 @ 6 pm - JAM Session - Bring your instrument/s and join other musicians for a JAM session in our lower level.


Tuesday, April 3 @ 6:30 pm - Creative Cooking - Theme: Cheese - It may be hard to choose which of your favorite cheese dishes to bring, but choose a favorite and bring it, along with the recipe, to share with the group. 


Wednesday, April 4 @ 6 pm - Rug Hooking, Part 2 - Bring your rug and Suzanne will show us how to finish it. For part 1 participants only.


Tuesday, April 10 @ 6:30 pm - Friends' Meeting - Become part of the Friends group and support the library by participating in an upcoming event!


Wednesday, April 18 @ 6 pm - JAM Session - Make some music with other like-minded musicians! JAM Session will be held in our lower level.


Thursday, April 26 @ 5:30  pm - Birdhouses for Books Reception - Back by popular demand, these one-of-a-kind birdhouses will be displayed in our basement for you to see and place your online bid! Online bidding begins at 5:30 pm and will be available at the reception.




**Creative Cooking Exchange (Held the 2nd Tuesday of every month) - Here's how it works:

  1. Check out a cookbook from Amelia Givin Library. 
  2. Choose a recipe from the book and prepare it
  3. After the recipe has been completed and made, jot down any difficulties, ideas to make it better, tips & hints you may have about the recipe
  4. Bring the dish to the Creative Cooking Exchange along with those notes and a thumbs up or thumbs down recommendation
  5. Participants will taste each others dishes and share recipes
  6. Enjoy preparing new dishes and meeting new friends!
