Monday, April 27 @ 6:30 pm - Explore 3-D Printing with Luke Fetterolf - Learn the new technology of 3-D printing and watch a 3-D printer at work in the library.  Ages 14 & older, registration requested.

 

Sunday, May 3 @ 1 pm OR 4 pm - Afternoon Tea at the Library - Come and enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in the historic Amelia Givin Library.  Choose a 1 pm or 4 pm seating.  Cost is $20.00 per person and the following menu will be served:  

  • Carrot Ginger Soup
  • Spinach Salad w/ Berries
  • Tomato & Cheddar Tea Sandwiches
  • Broccoli and Cheddar Quiche,
  • Ham-Pear-Fig Preserves Tea Sandwich
  • Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake
  • Earl Grey Cupcake
  • Lemon Dimple
  • Assorted Teas

 Tickets may be purchased at the Amelia Givin Library and payment is expected at time of purchase.  (Adults only please)

 

Monday, May 4 @ 6:30 pm - Combating Garden Pests - Annette MaCoy from the Cumberland County Extension Office will present a program on garden pests.  Learn to identify pests and combat these invasive creatures.  Ages 14 & older, registration requested.

 

Tuesday, May 12 @ 6:30 pm - Nosework - Megan Lloyd-Thomas, with Fieldwood Dog Training Center, will demonstrate this new sport you can enjoy with your dog.  Registration requested, all ages are welcome.
